How does the scoring system work?
To make sure everyone knows exactly how the #CDtrickchallenge scoring works, we have an overview of the evaluation criteria here. Every submission is individually reviewed and judged by Team Custom Decks, led by Corné Vonk (Founder of Custom Decks & background as a Physical Education teacher).
TC Evaluation & FAQ
Weekly participation (6 points):

Each week you participate, you earn 6 points for the leaderboard. This is the main way to earn points, so try to participate every week!
Did you miss a #CDtrickchallenge? You can participate retroactively!

Creativity (1-5 points):
|
You receive a score of 1-5 points for creativity.
- 1 point: You performed the challenge in the simplest way.
- 5 points: You did something completely new and unique.
Note: Scores of 2-4 points are given based on how your creativity compares to the minimum (1) and maximum (5) score.

Skill level (1-5 points):
|
You receive a score of 1-5 points for your skill level. We look at how difficult your entry is for your personal skateboarding level.
- 1 point: You performed the simplest version for your level.
- 5 points: You really challenged yourself and leveled up.
- Note: Scores of 2-4 points are given based on how your skills compare to the minimum (1) and maximum (5) score.

Execution (1-5 points):

You receive a score of 1-5 points for the execution of your trick.
- 1 point: The trick was not cleanly landed, hands/feet touched the ground, it should have been a redo.
- 5 points: The trick was textbook perfect: there’s nothing better than this execution!

Clip quality (1-5 points):

You receive a score of 1-5 points for the quality of your video.
- 1 point: The video is of low quality, you are poorly visible and the trick is not clearly seen.
- 5 points: The video is professionally filmed.

Public vote winner (2,5 points):
|
Each week, we select 10 random participants for the public vote round. We use an AI algorithm to randomly select participants. These participants are posted and tagged in a "Public Vote" post. The participant with the most votes in the comments of our post wins 2,5 bonus points.

The weekly winners are determined based on the scores achieved that week. For each week, a weekly overview can be found on the leaderboard. The weekly overview lists all entries and results. The top 3 of the weekly overview will take home the weekly prizes!

GRAND PRIZE WINNERS!
|
After 10 weeks, the three grand prize winners will be determined based on the standings on the leaderboard.
1st place: €750,- + #CDtrickchallenge award deck
2nd place: €500,- + #CDtrickchallenge award deck
3rd place: €250,- + #CDtrickchallenge award deck
